Good hair care starts with clean hair. You shouldn't wash your hair too often though. If it is washed too often, hair can become dry and damaged. For most people, washing hair every second day is probably enough. If you have very oily hair, you might want to wash everyday.
Your hair can also become dry and brittle if overworked. Blow dryers, curling irons and processes like colouring and perms can all damage your hair. Your hair care routine should keep these things to a minimum.
You can also care for your hair by caring for the rest of your body. Your general overall health will be reflected in your hair. If you eat well, get enough exercise and enough sleep you will have healthier hair. Other lifestyle choices like drinking caffeine and smoking can adversely affect the health of your hair.
